Tai Chi for Health is a program developed by Dr. Paul Lam, a Master Tai Chi teacher and physician in Australia. He lectures and teaches world wide. Tai Chi for Health provides classes, instructor taining, educational materials including books, instructional DVDs, charts and on-going support. In the world-wide program there are over 30 Master Trainers, over 50 senior Trainers and over 7000 trained instructors. Millions of people have benefited from the program since 2001. The Center for Disease Control and the Arthritis Foundation provides information about the program and has engaged over 300,000 people.
Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention is the primary though not exclusive program that we offer. We believe that arthritis and fall prevention are crucial to deal with for a majority of an aging population. One out of every three people over the age of 65 falls, and falls are the leading cause of nonfatal and fatal injuries among older adults. (CDC)
We are commited to teaching people how to use the wel- documented and research-based proven benefits of Tai Chi to prevent falls and help with problems of arthritis as well as for the wonderful health benefits that people have discovered every year for millenia.
We are affiliated with the Tai Chi for Health Institute (TCHI) of Australia founded by Dr. Paul Lam. All of our instructors are certified by the TCHI in order to teach. This assures you of people who know the various forms and are skilled teachers and tai chi practioners under supervision. All of the instructors have to stay current and renew their certification every two years.

All of our instructors are life-long learners and know that learning is what growing is all about. All instructors are commited to constantly learning and growing in their knowledge and practice of Tai Chi.
